About Me
My name is Laurel Schwaebe. Pleased to meet you! I am a jack of all trades, from graphic design and marketing to export and international relations to librarianship. I've traveled a lot (especially in China and Japan), but I grew up in a small town in southwestern Colorado. I try to maintain that small-town community feel in my work so that everyone is included and their needs are all met.
I've worked in marketing and creative design for a decade, so when the pandemic hit, I decided to shake things up and move into library and information science. My key focuses are digital materials and digitization.
My hobbies include reading, screen printing and zine making, video games, and traveling.

Resume

Librarianship
I dove head first into libraries in 2021 and I've been in love with the field ever since. In my time at the University of Denver, I worked on a number of digital and community-oriented projects that demonstrate my skills in libraries, and I would love to take those experiences and share them with you!
